Formed in San Francisco in the mid-90s, Acid King is a pillar of stoner/doom metal.

Led by Lori S., their vocalist and guitarist, the band is known for their crushing riffs and psychedelic atmospheres.

One detail you may not know: The band's name comes from a serial killer, Ricky Kasso, nicknamed "Acid King" for his involvement in an infamous murder case in the 1980s.

Although they keep a low profile, Acid King continues to influence the heavy metal scene with their unmistakable sound.
