Black Altar was founded in 1996 by Shadow and have many devoted supporters around the world. Since that time the band released 2 full length albums plus several splits with the cult bands like Varathron, Beastcraft, Vulture Lord. Last year was released another split with 2 cult bands, Swedish Ofermod and Greek Acherontas. Next year will be released, after 17 years, new full length album supported by very big promotion and position of the band will be much higher.
Black Altar never played any gigs yet in its 27 years history and demands of it is very high for years. Finally Shadow gathered the whole, very good line up, including ex Behemoth member and wants to start playing gigs from 2024. 4 memebrs of Black Altar also joined cult .
