Born in San Jose, California, singer and guitarist Tommy Castro first picked up the guitar when he was just 10 years old. From that moment on, Tommy became a fervent admirer of musicians like Elvin Bishop, Taj Mahal, and Mike Bloomfield, and never missed a single blues concert at JJ's Blues Bar, a club very close to where he lived.
This allowed him to see artists like John Lee Hooker, Albert King, and Buddy Guy & Junior Wells live, where he began playing with them and making a name for himself on the blues scene.
The rest is well known, as Tommy Castro is currently one of the greatest and most popular blues musicians, having received multiple awards and recognitions.
Now, he comes to A Coruña for the first time in a concert that promises to be unforgettable, in the midst of a tour promoting his new album, "Closer To The Bone," released in February of this year.
