SUEDE Antidepressants: Dancing with the Europeans

Suede has just announced the “Antidepressants: Dancing With The Europeans Tour” for 2026. On this tour, they will perform their tenth studio album, Antidepressants, live for the first time, with concerts at the Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota on March 19 and at Sagres Campo Pequeno on March 20, 2026.

Antidepressants, released on September 5, has received rave reviews: MOJO awarded it five stars, describing it as “a challenging and audacious record, both a joyous journey and a memento mori.” Uncut called it “the most intoxicating and unrestrained album since Coming Up,” Record Collector described it as “exhilarating and thrilling,” and Classic Pop praised an “intensely energetic” return. The current single, “Dancing With The Europeans,” was described as “euphoric” by NME, while the single “Trance State” was praised for having “an impressive sense of direction,” according to The Times.

The announcement comes after overwhelming demand to see Suede live. The special “Suede Takeover” program, held across various venues at London’s Southbank Centre during August and September 2025, sold out all six dates.

On this new tour, the band will perform Antidepressants live for the first time in an immersive and intimate show, revisit the documentary The Insatiable Ones with a live discussion, perform with special guests, and conclude with their first orchestral concert in collaboration with the Paraorchestra.

Since the release of Autofiction (2022), their highest-rated album in 20 years (reaching No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart), Suede has performed to the largest audiences of their career in more than 14 countries. Described by the London Evening Standard as "the most visceral live act on the planet", they now return with Antidepressants, an album that, according to Brett Anderson, "is music for those who suffer".
