YENDRY has just announced her European tour will include a stop in Portugal on December 1st at LAV - Lisboa ao Vivo in Lisbon.
Having grown up between the Dominican Republic and Italy, the artist embarked on her solo project in January 2019, when she signed with one of the three major labels.
In her childhood, 90s pop R&B, traditional Latin music, and electronic music defined her musical taste, which she describes as a cultural mix. She has spent the last two years traveling, experimenting with musical samples, and writing stories about her experiences, childhood, and her mother's life.
2021 has been a standout year, with collaborations with artists such as J. Balvin, Damian Marley, Mozart La Para, and Emotional Oranges. YouTube also selected her to perform alongside some of her biggest inspirations, R&B icon Mary J. Blige and Jazmine Sullivan, at the iconic Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. She was also the face of Spotify's 'Frequency' and 'Equal' campaigns, launched in Times Square.
Just before the end of 2021, her single 'YA' was named one of the best songs of 2021 by Barack Obama. Last year, YENDRY was nominated for Best New Female Artist at the Premio Lo Nuestro awards and released the singles "Mascarade" with Lous and the Yukuza, the dancefloor anthem "Ki-ki," and "Love Is Not Hard To Find" for the Amazon hit animated film 'Hotel Transylvania 4'.
